linz.irc.at - ipv6 Project

Since about the 1st of August 2001 linz.irc.at supports ipv6, the ip addressing system of the future. Currently we are
connected to the "ipv6-world" with an ipv6-in-ipv4 tunnel of the Austrian University Network ACOnet.
The ipv6-address of the ircserver is 2001:628:fffe:ffff:204:76ff:fe23:2024.
Currently we only give out ipv6-Ilines (=authorization to use linz.irc.at via IPv6) upon request. To request an I line for your subnet, click here.
